Interesting posting and comments, worthy of study, examination. I know of the great price paid by Russia for protection of their country and making Allied victory possible, I believe that it was over 20 million Russians alone. The battles for Leningrad and Moscow are not to be forgotten. That makes the stated loss of Russian life during the Yeltsin years a worthy subject for further research.
