Actors are rewarded for the quality of their following a script. They are to present the story or message with all the passion demanded regardless of the truth or lack thereof in that script; in fact, they do not need to know anything about the facts in the material.

Fellowship of the Minds

Imagine you’re a sewage worker, and sewage workers give themselves awards — which, of course, is rather narcissistic of sewage workers.

You’re at a sewage workers award love-fest.

Then an award winner gets on a soap box and starts ranting about politics, the election, and Donald Trump.

You would think:

“Why is a sewage worker pontificating about politics? What makes a sewage worker an expert on the election? And why are we listening to this drivel?”

Now substitute the words “sewage workers” with the words “movie actors” . . . .

During the Golden Globe Awards last Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, two grandiose narcissists, well knowing that the event was broadcast and widely reported by the media, abused their acceptance speeches by going on a rant about Trump.
